Personal Statement: I started working with the Duke Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design Methods Core, a group that collaborates extensively with researcher's across the Duke School of Medicine, about three years ago. I personally work with the Division of Internal Medicine, primarily on CKD projects, and with Hospitalists within the Duke medical system on a range of different research and quality improvement projects. I have professional experience working with large observational datasets, EHR, and Medicare claims datasets.
Hobbies/Interests: College sports, running, reading, and exceptionally poor guitar playing.
Why this project is important to me: I am excited to work on a project that could bring about immediate benefits to patients with CDK.
